Charonamix Mining (Pty) Ltd was offered an opportunity by Sibanye Stillwater Limited to provide a remedy to the Old Cooke 3 Backfill plant surface area that is immensely affected by historical spillage of hazardous, radioactive backfill material over the years.
- Demolition of all steel reinforced slab (width ± 300mm)
- Demolition of all steel reinforced concrete Pillars and partitioning
- Demolition of the old concrete sludge dams and pipeline concrete support
Cooke 3 BFP - Load & Haul
Rip, dig out, load & haul of all concrete material as well as the radioactive spillage area (surface) and dispose of to the designated Landfill site in
